Japanese Black Wagyu

“Wagyu” (meaning Japanese cow) is a term that encompasses all Japanese cattle.  However, there are several

closely related, yet distinct, varieties of cattle that fall within the Wagyu breed.  The Wagyu raised by Swan Land

and Cattle Co. are of the Japanese Black variety which produces extremely high quality meat and accounts for

around 90 percent of all cattle raised in Japan today.
